Is an Information Manager in the local NHS and has been a health informatician for the last 10 years. Originally a media gradute with a minor in journalism, she has started her journey towards writing literary short stories, with some publishing success and is a keen amateur photographer. Born in Bangladesh and having come to the UK as a toddler, and grown up in Luton there is a sense of something missing in the community of Bedford, one which she hopes to contribute to and enrich. Her love of growing her own and cooking comes from her mother's taciturn ability to survive poverty and other hardships. We need to change the way we think in order to tackle possible impending global tragedy we might face. We can learn these skills from people who've lived through this.

A one time computer programmer, I accepted voluntary redundancy in March 2005. Since that time I have been teaching myself HTML and CSS, so that I may get involved in Web Design. I have also been doing some volunteer work and taking an interest in the work of people like Naomi Klein. I hate Chicago School Economics with a passion. I wish to make it my personal goal and destiny to wipe all traces of this cancer from the face of the earth!
