It is sobering to really think about the future that we are all facing, I think that our need to &quot;get the economy back to growth&quot; will lead us to disaster unless strong grassroots movement from Transition/Environmental conscious people is able to bring a different paradigm about.  I think that the task facing us is huge, to change our paradigm from the present &quot;who dies with the best toys wins&quot; to a more eco-conscious community based decentralised one.  Writers like Murray Bookchin and many others have been telling us of the necessity of this for years, now it begins to seem possible.</description>
